Let's play catch up!

6/24/2012

Oh life, you never cease to amaze me! The word "busy" is way more than understatement but I wouldn't have it any other way! I thought today I would play "catch up" and fill you all in on our lives at the moment!
So school is over! I'm finished with my three weeks of classes! Thursday was my last day and by 5:15 I was literally dying to get out of class! Three weeks of straight lecture really takes a tole on you! I've been on information overload and I know it's only going to get worse before it gets better! On Wednesday my parents, Justin and I are heading to Columbus to get my Real Estate certificates "issued" so I can take my final exam and get my license. I could send my certificates via snail mail but that can take up to three weeks for them to process your account so we decided to make the drive! The faster I can take the test the better! I'm beyond anxious for my first sale! ;)

Besides finishing school I also played "hostess" for the first time! My in-laws stayed at our house all last week! Justin's sister had twins boys on Tuesday! We were super excited to have them stay with us and we're both so grateful to have a house big enough for them! While Justin's dad was here he helped Justin with more house remodeling! Let me just tell you, owning your own home is a never ending project! You always find something else to do or something you want to change! Our house is now in shambles but it's VERY worth it! I can't wait to show you guys FINAL before/after pictures! They're coming soon... promise! :)

Today Justin and I took a mental health day to have fun and relax! I like to call it "Sunday Funday!" We headed to Lovely's Farm Market for lunch, ice cream and fresh veggies! It was much needed!
{Yes I'm aware I eat as if I were eating for two, or better yet an army!}

Tomorrow I'm going to meet up with one of my best girl friends who is up visiting from Tennessee with her adorable baby boy! We're meeting for lunch and drinks! I can't wait to see them! :)

Well, that's what has been going on with me lately! We also have a TON of exciting things coming up... like our 1 year anniversary! I can't wait for all of the 1 year festivities!

How have you guys been!? I'm trying to read and catch up on all of your blogs! Hope everything is well! :)

PS- I got the cutest grapevine pocket wreath at our neighbors garage sale! It's perfect for our front porch! I will be changing it to fit every season! DIY post coming soon!

Have a great week everyone!

  7. Y'all have been busy! I can't imagine having in-laws for an entire week, haha! We have the room...but I'd miss the privacy. It probably has something to do with my inlaws not really liking me, but...I'm glad that's not a problem for y'all.

    Can't wait to see before&after's!
