So, I'm married now...
which means I need to contribute in the food department.

aka
I need to make something eatable delicious to bring to our family dinner!
Help?

My family is filled with phenomenal cooks and I really want to impress them!

  1. Pinterest! I have found awesome recipes for dinners this week, and there are tons popping up now for the holidays. I'm a newlywed too so this will be my first year attempting a Thanksgiving dish, but I plan on finding one on pinterest. Good luck in your cooking!

  2. I LOVE anything pumpkin! I suggest (if someone isn't already bringing this) pumpkin pie, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cookies, basically anything pumpkin!

  10. ha, i have this dilemma too, but my family knows that i'm a terrible cook, so i opted for something that is "apparently" easy to make and something that i LOVE eating on thanksgiving...green bean casserole!

  12. Oh wow you are growing up so fast (heehee)...this is a tricky one but I would go with a green bean casserole....or yummy bread. I am not much of a cook so my job for thanksgiving is usually washing the dishes hahaha

  15. What about a dessert..I make an eclair/icebox cake every year for thanksgiving and it gets devoured. Its soo simple and requires no bake. People always rave about it and ask for the recipe.
