Never let a good MASON go to waste!

7/12/2011

So I'm not really sure why but lately I've had a recent obsession with Mason Jars?

Weird right? I've been seeing so much of them lately and I started experimenting with an old one that I found out in my parents garage! Let me just tell you, I'm in LOVE.  Forget vases, our new house will be covered in Mason Jars! {Well not covered, but you know what I mean!}
They're good for holding fresh, artificial or dried flowers, floating candles... the list goes on and on! I love them so much I'm even thinking about collecting them! Justin and I went to the flea market a few weekends back and they had an entire booth full of antique Mason Jars! They even had some from the 1800's!  I can't wait to start decorating our house with these unique jars! Each one has so much character!

So the next time you see an old Mason Jar sitting on a dusty shelf, take a walk on your crafty side and see what you can do to spruce up the jar! :)
